My wife and I started our home search about 7-8 months before we ended up purchasing our first home. Being first time home buyers we had a lot to learn and had the potential of making some terrible decisions if not provided with proper guidance and advice.

When we started looking for a house I knew that I wanted to go through Remax. My parents bought their first home through Remax and I remembered things going very smoothly. By nothing short of divine intervention Scott happened to be the realtor representing the first home we wanted to look at. We let him know that we were young and first time home buyers, right away he basically said, "You don't want this house, but we can search the area and find some houses that done need as much work as this one". I knew right there that we were dealing with a realtor that had our best interests in mind and not just selling houses.

Eight or so months and a multitude of houses later we finally found the one that was right for us. Over the course of the eight months there were times where we almost felt bad, calling Scott so much and looking at so many homes, but he was always there and always had time for us. Scott knows the market and knows houses through and through, constantly noticing problems and things that my wife and I, as first time buyers, certainly wouldn't have noticed. He goes above and beyond and makes every effort to make your buying experience go smoothly.

If you are looking to buy or sell any real-estate Scott would definitely get our resounding recommendation. He made the process enjoyable and certainly less scary for the first time buyers my wife and I were. We couldn't be happier with our home purchase and really owe it all to Scott. He gained yet another customer and friend for life and we'd be foolish not too buy our next home with him.

Selling a home is always a concern to the homeowner - it means giving up something that's been nourished and loved over the years. You hope for a smooth sale, no major problems, and an agent that has your best interest at heart.

When we met Scott we knew instantly that we'd found that perfect person. He answered all our questions and concerns, took additional steps to make sure we had answers to our questions. He spent extra attention in detail and when our beautiful home sold in only three weeks, we knew he'd done his personal best for us.

I'd like to add another observation, because it really meant a lot to my husband and I. As I am a hearing impaired individual, Scott was unable to talk to me on the phone. Almost all of our daily conversations were by e-mail!! We asked questions, resolved problems, got explanations and assurances, and kept in close contact which gave me peace of mind. You can imagine my delight when he said we had a buyer!! This was an example of an agent going the extra mile for his clients, and it was a wonderful experience!!

We have nothing but positive things to say about our experience with Scott. As first-time home buyers, we had to sort out our budget, where we wanted to live, what type of house we wanted, which realtor to use, and what seemed like a never-ending list of other details. We started working with Scott based on a couple of recommendations, and we feel we really lucked out.
